We use prescription-only products to reduce lines & encourage a more youthful appearance. Each individual is medically assessed, with a clinical examination before completion of treatment - including discussing education and pre/post-aftercare advice. This ensures we can deliver safe & inclusive individualised treatments.
Once treated each client is invited for a review within 10-14 days to assess how their treatment is working for them & discuss any concerns the client may have. It may take up to 14 days to see the full effect of this treatment & is best seen once aftercare advice has been complied with.
Anti-Wrinkle treatment results are best at 10-12 weeks post-injection; however, the treatment is temporary and will need repeating at a minimum of 12 weeks.
Individuals are encouraged to attend a review appointment to ensure realistic, but maximum satisfaction with results.

Hyaluronic Acid filler is injected into soft tissue to give an immediate plumped effect. It is used to create subtle & full-looking lips, whilst also being used to smooth out deep lines around the nose & mouth area.
This treatment takes immediate effect, however, may take up to 14 days for side effects - such as swelling & redness - to subside. During consultation, the client's desired look is always considered, whilst discussing the safest & most appropriate way to deliver this treatment.
Multiple appointments may be needed over some time to build up a client’s desired look depending on natural anatomy. This treatment can last anywhere from 6-18 months.
Glow Medical Aesthetics is also pleased to offer Local Anaesthetic Pain Reducing injections for maximum comfort during Lip Filler Treatments.
Dissolving Fillers:
Hyaluronidase (known as Hyalase) is a prescription-only drug used to boost absorption & dispersal of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) filler. We use a small amount injected into the body of the filler to break down the filler, which at times the area can be refilled with filler once settled.
This drug is also used in an emergency, due to migration, to break down hard nodules and if the client is not happy with their current shape & would like a refresh.
Please note that this is subject to a mandatory patch test to avoid allergic reactions as much as possible.

Glow Medical Aesthetics uses a range of different brands of Skin Boosting Injectables depending on the result desired & presentation of current dermatological status.
Depending on the patient's concern, it depends on the brand and vrsion chosen to suit the concern and give the best possible outcome.
We use skin boosters that not only regenerate the skin but also encourage the reproduction of collagen & elastin, while some version of particular brands are for sole use of hydration and under eyes to target fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles.
Other classic skin boosters not only target the concrns above but are also known to help with sun damage, acne scarring and pigmentation loss.

Glow Medical Aesthetics currently offers three different vitamin booster treatments.
Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin in our body that is naturally found in some foods, added to others, and synthesised by bacteria in the small intestine. It is an extremely important component for our energy and mental health, contributes to keeping our blood, bones, and nervous system healthy, and supports the production of DNA. It is mainly found in meat, seafood, dairy, offal, fish, and eggs, which means those individuals who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet may be lacking adequate levels of B12. Those who have also had weight loss surgery may find they have low levels of vitamin B12 due to their change in absorption.
Some individuals use Vitamin B12 Booster Injections to treat medical conditions; however, this must be diagnosed by your GP following a blood test. This is not able to be completed at Glow Medical Aesthetics.
Vitamin C is naturally found in some foods, added to others, and synthesised by bacteria in the small intestine. It is an extremely important component of our immune system, energy, and mental health and contributes to keeping our blood, bones, skin, and cartilage healthy. It also helps promote wound healing.
Biotin (also known as Vitamin H or Vitamin B7) is one of the complex B vitamins needed in the body to convert food into energy. It can help aid weight loss, hair and nail regrowth, lower cholesterol, regulate blood sugars, decrease blood pressure, reduce depression and anxiety, aid digestion, and boost fertility.
Although biotin deficiencies are rare, individuals may notice hair loss or a scaly red rash, which must be reviewed by a doctor.

We use advanced Cryotherapy technology to remove and diminish obienign dermatological conditions. Our Cryopen treatment freezes skin down to -85 degrees Celsius with pinpoint accuracy.
By using a temperature of -85 degrees Celsius, the Cryopen enables the skin to freeze, which causes the liquid inside the lesion’s cell to become miniscule shards of ice and the cell membrane to rupture, thus destroying the cells. This is an extremely fast process that does not allow the body to protect itself during the treatment time, ensuring results.
The treatment is minimally invasive, and the results are permanent; however, you may need multiple treatments (4-6 weeks apart). It is imperative to remember that if you are prone to a particular lesion or if the lesion is a symptom of a viral infection, these may occur elsewhere.
